Basketball at the YMCA (3 and 4 year olds)

How cute is he? Christian has started playing basketball at the YMCA. There are about 10 to a team. Kyle is the assistant coach. It really is too cute. I'm not sure if the NBA is in his future though, but his Momma is still VERY proud!

This basket went in. He can shoot!

Taking a pic with Momma. This was before the game. He does like to look on the bleachers and find me though. He will run over and give me hugs and I have to keep reminding him that he should be on the court with his team.
There's Daddy trying to bring him back into the huttle. He kind of likes to do his own thing.

Coach Daddy with Christian.

Being goofy when he should be paying attention. Imagine that! :)

I love this picture. This is him sitting on the bench.

For some reason he never likes to sit near the rest of the team on the bench. I guess he needs his space.

At the end of the game all the kids love this part...when they get to give "five's" to each other.

Bowling

Taking a little popcorn break!

It was a lot of fun sliding around on the slippery floor.

He didn't do too bad. Probably beat Momma, but he did have bumpers!

Christian and Char (Alyssa)

This is my favorite picture of them. So cute!!

Alyssa came to babysit Christian for about a month. They seemed to have a good time. Every night I would come home to self portraits on my camera.

Look at their cool tent. I think every blanket was used in the house.

Momma's Dragon Boat

As many of you know...I have become involved in Dragon Boating. It is a lot of fun, but has been pretty time consuming. Luckily we are a really good team, so if I am putting in the time...at least we win!! Here are some pictures from our Miami race. We did a team boat and an all women's boat.

Leaving the platform after getting our 1st place women's trophy and ribbon. As you can see the crowd has gone wild! :)

Posing with 2 of the girls from the all women team and our steersperson Mike in the back.

I'm in love with a Sk8er boy!

Christian now has a skateboard. He has proved himself to be very athletic...so we thought we would take it to the next step. Momma made sure he had all of the padding he would need, wrist guards, helmet, knee pads, elbow pads...he was decked out. It lasted all about 5 minutes before he was wanting to take all the pads off. He likes to do tricks though. Lilly wanted to give it a try too.

Silly Boy!

Christian's got rhythm. He is really into dancing right now. His favorite moves would include the booty shake, getting low and raising the roof. His favorite songs would include anything by Kenny Chesney, Low by FloRida, It's my Life by BonJobi(as he would say) and She's a Hottie by Toby Keith. And if your going to play it....play it loud!! He loves loud music. I think he gets that from his Daddy!

Lilly and Devon's visit (oh yeah...Aunt Karen too)

Lot's of fun was had at the house when Aunt Karen, Devon and Lilly were here. Madison and Herbie Lee came over and they all practiced their golfing skills.

Devon even wore the shorts for golfing! :)

Christian had the most fun hitting the ball as hard as he could and then trying to chase it down before it stopped rolling so he could try and hit it again. He likes to make up his own games.

Lilly was very brave to let Devon drive her around. Look at the red cheeks on those kids...it must had been nearly 100 degrees outside.

Now Devon is the brave one. Christian learned from the next door neighbor Alex...how to be a mad man on the trucks.

Isn't she so sweet? I'm telling you she is an angel and has won over a huge part of her Aunt Peggy's heart.

Just pondering....she was thinking....I could live here in Florida near my Aunt Peggy.
