Christmas 2008

I can't seem to get the majority of my pictures from Christmas to download. Christian had a great Christmas though. He got a trampoline, one with a big net around it, so he loves that. He also of course got lots of monster trucks, books, a microphone, all sorts of things. Way more than he actually needed. He knew all about Santa this year and was definitely in the holiday spirit. He loved singing Jingle Bells and thought Feliz Navadad was the funniest song in the world. I'm now realizing why I need to blog as things happen, because I can't think of any funny stories to share and I'm sure he had some. Sorry.
We went to the park, where they had a snow machine (really it was bubbles) so the kids had fun playing in it. For those of you reading this up north...we waited in line for 45 minutes for the kids to play for 4 minutes in fake, bubbly snow. Sounds crazy huh? But Christian loved it. He was the last kid to leave. As you can see Madison wasn't too crazy about it.

He made 2 gingerbread houses this year. One with Aunt Penny and one with his Gagas.

Tool set from MiMi and PopPop

Christian had a tree in his room this year! That was pretty exciting. We went to a tree farm and cut it down. It was about 5 foot tall. He loved it. We set up his train set to go around the bottom of it.

Robinson Preserve with Daddy

Robinson Preserve is a great natural park in Bradenton. Aunt Penny likes to take the kids there quite a bit and Christian loves it. He can ride his bike or walk up to the tower. The tower is probably 3 or 4 stories tall that you can climb up to the top and then usually Penny has snacks for the kids. So they take a rest at the top and eat their snacks before it is time to head back. It's really quite beautiful and a lot of fun for them.

Riding his bike.
Fishing at the park. He did great for his first time. He can really cast it good.

Look at those guns!

Cousins

Christian is a really good playmate. I love that about him. He loves playing with other kids and has no problem sharing, at least not much from what I have seen. He loves to play with his cousins. Here he is with Kalon riding scooters. I love it when he gets to play with his cousins Devon and Kalon. It's fun to watch little boys play together. Lots of laughing and running around like chickens with thier heads cut off. (Sad that us Veasey kids can say that we really know what that looks like...thanks to our life on the farm. Thanks Dad for that memory! Hahahahaha)

Halloween 2008

Halloween was so much fun this year. Christian, without any persuasion from Aunt Penny, wanted to be a dalmation puppy dog. We tried to find him a Stripes (Zebra) costume, but had no luck. So his second choice was the dalmation. I decorated the house that morning, but we had a lot of fun with the cobwebs and especially the "spooky" witch that cackled at anyone that came to the front door. I left a bowl of candy by the front door with a note that said "Take one please". I was assured by everyone that the bowl would be empty when we got home...and sure enough it was. We went trick or treating at Andrea and Herbie's like we have done every year for the past 3 years. So that was fun once again! He just gets funner and funner every year!
Momma and her puppy!

Aunt Penny with her little dinosaur, ballerina, and puppy!

There's a puppy in that tree! A really cute puppy I might add.

He was tuckered out by the end of the night and relied on Chris to carry him.

When he got home he had to act like a real puppy and drink from the bowl.

Evidence of a recession!

Gator Pics for Daddy's Birthday

This is all of Aunt Penny and Aunt Karen's doing. I must say he is very diplomatic though. He will say "Go Gators"is what Daddy says. Momma says "Go Seminoles". You ask him what he says and he says "Go Bucs!" Too cute!!

4th Birthday!!

Look at what a handsome big boy he is!
I'm so glad he was born around Halloween. What a fun holiday to mix with his birthday. Here he is with Aunt Patti decorating his caramel apple.

This is what happens when you ride your scooter with just socks on!

Playing with the Dr. set that Aunt Patti got him. Later on that night he was playing Dr to his monster trucks! hahhaha

Herbie Lee licking icing off his arm. Look at those adorable eyes!

Loved his scooter!! This kid has unbelievable motor skills!

Really?

Has it really been 6 months since I have updated this post? I feel really bad about that.

So I will try to make it up today. I'm home sick...I've been home for 3 days now. Unfortunately since Christian still feels a need to sleep in bed right next to me, he may have caught a little bit of the bug too. Have I told you how much I hate being sick?!!!
