Really?

Has it really been 6 months since I have updated this post? I feel really bad about that.

So I will try to make it up today. I'm home sick...I've been home for 3 days now. Unfortunately since Christian still feels a need to sleep in bed right next to me, he may have caught a little bit of the bug too. Have I told you how much I hate being sick?!!!

Kenny Chesney Concert

Kyle insisted on taking Christian to see Kenny Chesney. He loves singing Kenny Chesney, or as he would say Chetney, in the car. I was kind of skeptical, but we all decided to go. Me,Kyle, Christian and Rhiannon. This is a picture of us in the car. He was so excited!

I gave him my camera to start taking pictures of Ra-Ra to try and keep him awake.

Finally he could not hold out anymore. He gave in. The ironic thing is he fell asleep earlier then he does on normal nights. I guess he was just too worked up and excited about the whole thing. It was great though and I'm glad Kyle insisted on going because it was a lot of fun seeing him at his 1st concert.

We went to a monster truck show in Sarasota. This year we are going to Monster Jam at the stadium in February. We can't wait!

Momma's Triathlon

I couldn't resist putting the swim cap on Christian when he found it.

I can now say I am a multi-triathlete. I finished my 2nd Sprint Triathlon on August 16th. I was very happy with my time 1 hour and 18 minutes (600 meter swim in the ocean, 13 mile bike and 5K run). I can't wait to do another one to beat this time.

Our Blanket

Here's a picture of the blanket PopPop made us!! We love snuggling on the couch with it, because ever since we got the fans in our living room we FREEZE watching TV! Thank you PopPop...we love it!

Alex our Neighbor and Friend

We are very fortunate to have great neighbors who happen to have a son who is the same age as Christian. Here is a picture of Alex and Christian on the hummer. The helmets are a must for these boys, as they are often riding bikes, scooters, skateboards or their motorized vehicles. They are constantly on the go when they are together.
