Fall Festival!

What a fun day...and hot day! We went with Uncle Moe, Aunt Penny, Char and Ra-Ra to Hunsader's. Christian got to ride the pony...which he loved. He made everyone laugh when he kept saying "Yee-Haw". He played games with Daddy. We went through the corn maze and went on the hayride. All in all...it was a lot of fun! I think the pictures reflect that.

Christian's 3rd Birthday!

Alright...so I got talked into throwing a party for Christian...I'm so glad we did it. Mom was gracious enough to let us have it at her house. The weather was great and we spent a big portion of the party on the back patio. Kyle was in charge of games and brought the pinata and pin the tail on the donkey. Both were huge hits (no pun intended). Christian was amazed and so excited all day. I love the pic of him and Maddy sitting by his presents...just eyeballing them. He knew he couldn't open them, but was so anxious too. When the time came for him to open them up...he got tired of opening them all. He just wanted to play with them already! It was a fantastic day. It is days like this that remind me how blessed we are to have him in our lives. There is no way to describe to you how much joy he brings to me...and yet I always remember the personal sacrifice that came with bringing us this much joy! It hardly seems like it has been 3 years since Kyle and I were in Virginia watching him be born. What a beautiful baby...that has grown in to be a precious little boy. But will he just stop growing already?! (Just Kidding) He actually gets funner every day, which seems impossible to me.

Peggy's Birthday

I spent part of my 32nd birthday at my sister Penny's house. She was sweet enough to buy me a cake, card and flowers. Christian was so excited to put the candles on my cake (and of course a couple of cars too)...he came running to get me..."momma...come...come momma...I have a sah-pize for you!" It really was too cute...thanks Penny!

Herbie Lee's 1st Birthday Party...

Pop-Pop on the slide!

Both Christian and Herbie Lee enjoyed the cake!

I must admit...I welled up with tears when I saw him with his backpack on...I am not going to handle his first day of school very well!

Trains instead of Cars?

As much fun as he had...I don't think that they will replace his love of cars...but it did keep him entertained for a couple of hours at Aunt Penny's house.

Adventure Island with Daddy

Daddy's going to get you...

Still bringing cars everywhere! His new favorite...cheetos!

Uncle Moe and Christian. Looking cool in Uncle Moe's glasses. How cute is this kid...I mean really?

Life is a beach...

In a good way. We love the beach! What could be better then playing in the water, the sand and feeding the seagulls. We are so fortunate that we live so close...I couldn't imagine it any other way. Christian usually only lasts a little over an hour, then it gets a little too hot and sandy for him. Plus the way he runs up and down the beach, he is wore out by then!
